ورشتا عمل في ” عمان العربية” حول الأعتماد الأكاديمي الدولي (ABET)
عمان – نظمت لجنة الاعتماد الأكاديمي الدولي (ABET) في كلية العلوم الحاسوبية والمعلوماتية في جامعة عمان العربية ورشتي عمل تعريفية لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية حول الاعتماد الدولي (ABET) ومتطلباته بحضور عميد الكلية الدكتور حسام الحمد ورؤساء الأقسام وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية.
واستعرض الدكتور محمد غازي عبيد الله والدكتور حسام مصطفى من كلية العلوم الحاسوبية والمعلوماتية في الورشة الأولى مقدمة تعريفية في الاعتماد الدولي (ABET) ومعاييره، بالإضافة إلى المخرجات التعليمية للطلبة واهداف البرامج الأكاديمية، وتناولت الورشة الثانية التي جاءت بعنوان “متطلبات الاعتماد الاكاديمي الدولي (ABET)” وقدمها الدكتور محمد الشنوان والدكتور حسام مصطفى من كلية العلوم الحاسوبية والمعلوماتية حيث استعرضا فيها متطلبات الاعتماد للبرامج الأكاديمية، بالإضافة الى مراحل التجويد المستمر لها على مستوى الكلية.
ويهدف عقد هذه الورش في الكلية الى مراجعة ومتابعة وتقييم الإجراءات الخاصة بتحقيق معايير الاعتماد للبرامج الأكاديمية في الكلية لتلبية معايير الجودة الدولية التي تؤهل الخريجين للدخول الى سوق العمل باقتدار.
Two Workshops about the International Academic Accreditation (ABET) have been Held at Amman Arab University
Amman- The committee of international academic accreditation (ABET) at the faculty of computer sciences and informatics has organized two introductory workshops for faculty members to explain the requirements of ABET accreditations with an attendance of the dean of the faculty, departments’ chairmen and faculty members.
During the first workshop, Dr. Mohammed Ghazi Al-Obeidallah and Dr. Hossam Mustafa, outline an introduction to the ABET accreditation and its criteria, expected students’ outcomes, and goals of the academic programs at the faculty.
During the second workshop, entitled the requirements of ABET accreditation, Dr. Mohammad Alshinwan and Dr. Hossam Mustafa explain the accreditation requirements of the academic programs at the faculty of computer science and informatics and how continues improvement has been applied to guarantee high quality programs at the faculty.
The organization of these workshops at the faculty aims to review and assess the procedures that should be met by the academic accreditation programs. In addition, these programs should fulfil the international quality standards, which qualify graduates to effectively enter the labor market.
